Anshe Maamin B'Mitzvot was started as an offshoot special interest group from the World Scholar Society.  We are a non-profit voluntary organization.  Our purpose is to acheive happiness and self-fulfillment through the performance of Mitzvot.

MISSION STATEMENT
Anshe Maamin B'Mitzvot means people who believe in doing good deeds as the immutable path to a lfe of happiness and self fulfillment.   We actively seek out mitzvot to perform at the local, national, and international level.

Today's Mitzvah:

Participate in the America Eats for Israel campaign to support victims of terrorism.
Organized by high school students across the U.S., kosher restaurants will be donating 10% of proceeds to charity.  Consider the multiple ways your purchase of one meal will help the world:  this is a mitzvah that can trigger a cascade of tzedakah:

1. The monitary charitable donation is obvious.
2. Success of this program will reward the high school students who organized it by encouraging similar programs in the future.
3. It shows the world that we can generate a peaceful response to senseless violence
4.  It encourages Tzedaka among the owners of the restaurants, rewarding them with a high volume of customers.
5. Long lines of people waiting to get in to participating restaurants will attract the attention of news media, encouraging additional participation by anyone who wants to help victims of terrorism.
6. It will bring non-observant Jews to eat a kosher meal.
7. It is a dramatic show of emotional support to the victims of terrorism that goes far beyond the financial revenue that is generated, showing them that they are not alone and that we care about them.

Thus, just one mitzvah as simple as ordering a slice of kosher pizza is amplified 7-fold.  It is a powerful action that no terrorist can stop.
